All SmartCarbs are configured specifically to the application for which they are ordered. Our expert team of technicians select the metering rod and pre-set your SmartCarb prior to shipping. They may contact you if they have questions about your application.
Orders will ship when available. We use the best available priority mailing carrier. All shipments are insured and we will send you tracking information via email once they are sent. Alternative or faster shipping methods are available upon request.
Please note that any import duties or taxes that may apply are your responsibility and are not included in the shipping price. Check with your local authorities regarding any fees or charges that may be due at the time of delivery.
All Internationally shipped packages are labeled "Motorcycle Carburetor" under Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) commodity code 8714.10.0050
Refusal to pay any applicable customs fees will constitute a refusal of the package and any shipping costs associated with the package's return to SmartCarb Fuel Systems are deducted from any refund.

SmartCarb Fuel Systems (SCFS) products and parts, including kit components are warranted to the original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the original shipping date. Any part that fails to conform to these conditions will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of SCFS upon receipt of the defective part within the six (6) month warranty period. All warranties will be void under any of the following conditions:
- Product was improperly installed or used in an application other than specified during purchase.
- Product has been damaged, modified, or altered in any way.
During the warranty period, if you believe the product to have a manufacturing defect, please fill out the Return Authorization Form below. It will alert us that your product is returning and why. Please use appropriate packaging materials to adequately protect the product during shipping to the following address:

Upon receipt of the returned product, SCFS will inspect it and repair any manufacturing defects, replace the unit at no charge, or provide a refund less shipping costs. If SCFS determines that there are no manufacturing defects or that conditions are met for voiding the warranty (damage to the product, improper installation, or product modification), we will reset the product to factory settings and return it for the cost of shipping.
If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of the product and would like to return it within thirty (30) days of delivery, you may choose to return it for a refund, less a 30% restocking fee plus costs for repairing any damage to the product (excluding normal wear and tear from installation and handling). Please fill out the Return Authorization Form below and use appropriate packaging materials to adequately protect the product during shipping to the following address:

Additional information:
- Unused products that have not been installed may be returned by the original purchaser within ten (10) days of delivery for a full refund less a 10% restocking fee.
- For product returns outside of the six (6) month warranty period, view our Factory Refurbishing Service policy.
- SmartCarb Fuel Systems products purchased through dealers must adhere to the dealer’s returns and warranty policies. Please have your dealer contact us directly with any warranty concerns.
SmartCarb Fuel Systems is pleased to offer an exchange program for the following series of metering rods:

Any SmartCarb metering rod from the series mentioned above that is returned to us intact (not scratched, bent, or otherwise damaged) is refunded in full ($50) or exchanged for a different metering rod upon request. Please state the specific metering rod(s) to be returned in the form below along with your request for a refund, an exchange, or both if returning multiple metering rods. If exchanging, please state the metering rod(s) that you require. After receipt of the metering rod(s) we will issue a refund and/or send a PayPal invoice to the email address provided for return shipping for exchanges. Metering rods ship the same day they are ordered or exchanged.
Protect all metering rods through shipping by using a bubble wrap envelope. Cardboard or similar added protection is recommended. DO NOT use a plain envelope as they are subject to being put through a roller during the shipping process.
